Floating and coastal arrays punish PV cable with permanent humidity, ammonia and salt fog. This build uses an XLPO compound tested to the EN 50618 ammonia annex and IEC salt fog severity 6, so the sheath does not craze, crack or lose its mechanical strength over the 25 year design life.
